About factory18:
The artists’ gallery factory18 was founded in 2002 by Stephan Ois, freelance artist and co-founder of the Fliegende Galerie, and successfully combines contemporary art and craftsmanship. Alongside contemporary art by Stephan Ois and designs of his own, factory18 also offers picture frames that differ in quality and feel from conventional shop-bought frames. All frames are mitred at the corners (no sharp edges!) and individually surface-finished. Specialities of the workshop include simple and elegant shadow gap frames (also silver-plated or gilded), spacer frames and box frames for modern art objects.
